HydroVac International Inc. manufactures and supplies all of its truck-mounted hydrovac units. We have 40 years of experience with heavy construction equipment. Our trucks are designed to handle all hydrovacing and daylighting in all seasons and all conditions.
All of HydroVac International Inc.'s employees and operators are well trained and knowledgeable. Our personnel have over 30 years experience safely exposing underground utilities through hydrovac operations. Alberta Construction Safety Association Certification & Worker's Compensation Board coverage are cornerstones of our safety standards.
Our hydrovac units are used for various applications in the oil & gas, utility, transportation, engineering and industrial sectors. Some of the applications include daylighting, potholing, shoring, excavating, tunneling, slot trenching and pole/piling holes.
Our hydrovacing system is a non-destructive method of excavating. It uses pressurized water and a vacuum system to safely excavate around utilities and pipelines.
The Hydro-Vac system is a unique combination of systems - water, pressure and vacuum - combined in one self-contained, mobile unit. It replaces mechanical equipment or hand digging, allowing facility owners and contractors to lower costs while enhancing safety.
Water is pressurized and injected into the ground through a handheld wand to safely wash the soil from underground infrastructure. The resulting slurry is simultaneously vacuumed from the excavation through a large debris hose and temporarily stored in a debris tank. HydroVac International Inc.'s units have the highest payload rating & capacity in the area.
